How Dr. Daisy Engages Learners through Science Communication
“ I didn’t know that I wanted to be a professor until it was like the last quarter [of undergrad]. It started because one of my professors said, “Hey, I think you’re a really good voice for teaching. Have you ever thought about teaching?” And I was like, “No, I haven’t.” It made me think that’d be really cool. My professors up until that point where mostly white men then. ”
Dr. Daisy is a multi-hyphenate Latina carving her way in the space of science communication. With her background in education, she guides learners about awareness and literacy around chemistry in our everyday lives.
